College Prep 101

A community program that assists high school students and their parents with preparing for college. Through continuous research and several workshops our dedicated team provides significant assistance to students and their parents.

C.A.R.E. Ministry | Choosing Addiction Recovery Efforts

Our C.A.R.E. Ministry is an outreach ministry to the community and families by:

  • Assisting all in their recovery efforts using the 12-Step Principles

  • Being a community support and liaison to those in need of recovery efforts

  • Recovery support for ages starting as early as age 18

Workforce Preparation

An immersive experience that equips students aged 14-21 with a combination of hard and soft skills essential for success in today's evolving job market. By establishing direct connections with industry leaders, participants gain access to networking opportunities and mentorship, positioning them as attractive candidates for future employment.

Organized in 2000 by a group of breast cancer survivors at Mt. Zion Progressive Missionary Baptist Church as a faith-based community support group under the leadership of Jacqueline Y. “JB” Brown.

Sistahs Surviving Breast Cancer is a community support group organized to assist African American and other minority women through their fight against breast cancer.

Scouting - Troop 223

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) provides the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training, which helps young people be “Prepared. For Life.®”

BSA programs are divided by age and activity: Cub Scouting is for boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade, Scouts BSA is open to young men and young women in grades 6 through 12, and co-ed Venturing and Sea Scouting are available for young men and young women age 14 through 20. The BSA also offers career-oriented co-ed Exploring programs to youth age 10 through 20.
