Who We Are

We are a community program that assists high school students and their parents with college preparation.

What We Provide

College prep for high school students serves the community by promoting education, empowerment, economic development, social mobility, community engagement, addressing disparities, building knowledge, and fostering cultural enrichment. The impact of these programs extends beyond the individual students, creating positive changes that benefit the community as a whole.

Mount Zion College Prep 101 strives to aid students and their parents within each of our sessions to help maximize:

  • Goal Setting

  • Understanding the purpose and difference between the ACT & SAT 

  • Florida Bright Future Scholarship Info Session

  •  College Application Essay Writing Workshop

  • College Selection – Preparing, Applying, Research & Deciding

  • Understanding Regular admission, early application, early admission & early decision.

  •  Credit Awareness

  • SAT and ACT Practice Test

  • SAT and ACT Test taking strategy

  • SAT subject-specific Saturday workshop

  • ASVAB Test Preparation to join the military

  • Alternative post-graduation options
